What our listing verification badges mean

9 October 2026

Each badge on a Trinity listing matches a specific, recorded check. Here is what each one covers, and what it does not.

Trust is the reason Trinity exists, so our badges are deliberately narrow. Each one means a specific check was carried out and recorded, with the date and the person responsible.

Owner identity checked We have confirmed the identity of the owner, or of the person authorised to act for them, against official identification.

Ownership documents reviewed We have reviewed the documents the owner provided, such as an indenture, land title certificate or site plan, and they are consistent with the listing.

Site visited by Trinity A member of our team has visited the property or land and confirmed that it exists and matches the description and photos.

Independent legal verification An independent lawyer, named on our records, has completed a legal verification. This badge only appears when that has happened.

What badges do not mean Badges are not a legal opinion, a survey or a guarantee of title. Checks are separate: a site visit, for example, says nothing about the documents. Before paying for land or property, always instruct your own lawyer and confirm searches with the Lands Commission.

No badge? Some listings are newly added and checks are still in progress. Ask us for the status of any listing before making a payment.
